Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes C-X-C motif chemokine 10 (gene CXCL10) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 10.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 40 kDa.
CXCL10 (IP-10) is an interferon-γ-inducible chemokine that binds the receptor CXCR3. It attracts activated T cells, NK cells and monocytes to sites of infection and inflammation and also has angiostatic effects. CXCL10 is commonly measured as a marker of interferon-driven immune responses in viral infection, autoimmunity and transplant research.

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt describes C-X-C motif chemokine 10 as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Mainly secreted by monocytes, endothelial cells as well as fibroblasts.
