Product Overview
Clone FDG-9 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 3 (gene IRAK3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 67.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 68 kDa.
IRAK3 (also called IRAK-M) is a pseudokinase expressed mainly in monocytes and macrophages. It acts as a negative regulator of Toll-like receptor and IL-1 receptor signaling by keeping IRAK1 and IRAK4 bound to the receptor complex, which limits inflammatory responses and contributes to endotoxin tolerance.
