Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets immunity-related GTPase family M protein 1 (gene Irgm1) in mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 46.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 45 kDa.
In mouse, Irgm1 is an interferon-inducible immunity-related GTPase that binds intracellular membranes. It regulates autophagy, lysosome function and mitochondrial homeostasis, and it is required for resistance to intracellular bacteria and protozoa, while also limiting excessive inflammation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): mouse RAW264.7 whole cellmouse Ana-1 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant mouse IRGM/Irgm1 fragment (Glu50–Lys333), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with mouse. UniProt places immunity-related GTPase family M protein 1 in the Golgi apparatus membrane, cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicle and lysosome membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (mouse): Expressed in lung and primary macrophages. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
