Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes immunity-related GTPase family Q protein (gene IRGQ) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
IRGQ is an immunity-related GTPase family protein that lacks GTPase activity. It acts as an autophagy receptor that directs misfolded MHC class I molecules to lysosomes for degradation, which influences how much MHC class I reaches the cell surface and how strongly T cells respond.

Immunogen
Recombinant human IRGQ fragment (Asp7–Gln623), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 78.2%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places immunity-related GTPase family Q protein in the lysosome and cytoplasmic vesicle.
