Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets inositol-tetrakisphosphate 1-kinase (gene ITPK1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 45.6 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 42 kDa.
Inositol-tetrakisphosphate 1-kinase (ITPK1) is a multifunctional inositol phosphate kinase. It phosphorylates Ins(1,3,4)P3 and Ins(3,4,5,6)P4 and can also act as a phosphatase, and it is a key enzyme for producing higher inositol phosphates such as InsP5 and InsP6.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human MCF-7 cells, human 293T cells, human U251 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): MCF-7 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human ITPK1 fragment (Gln25–Gln414), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 92.7%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in brain > heart > skeletal muscle = kidney = pancreas = liver = placenta > lung. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
