Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets inositol-trisphosphate 3-kinase C (gene ITPKC) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, immunoprecipitation and ELISA.
Inositol-trisphosphate 3-kinase C (ITPKC) phosphorylates the second messenger IP3 to form IP4, which ends IP3-triggered calcium release. In T cells this acts as a brake on calcium-dependent NFAT signaling, and ITPKC variants are associated with susceptibility to Kawasaki disease.

Recombinant human ITPKC fragment (Asp292–Glu607), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 88.1% and 88%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places inositol-trisphosphate 3-kinase C in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in pancreas, skeletal muscle, liver, placenta and weakly in kidney and brain.
