Product Overview
Clone HGC-13 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes mitogen-activated protein kinase 10 (gene MAPK10) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 52.6 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 50,53 kDa.
JNK3 (MAPK10) is a c-Jun N-terminal kinase expressed mainly in the brain, heart and testis. Activated by stress and inflammatory cytokines through MKK4 and MKK7, it phosphorylates c-Jun and other targets, and it is studied for its role in stress-induced neuronal death and neurodegeneration.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human JNK3.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places mitogen-activated protein kinase 10 in the cytoplasm, membrane, nucleus and mitochondrion. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Specific to a subset of neurons in the nervous system. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
