Product Overview
Clone HFO-10 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes transcription factor JunB in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 35.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 43 kDa.
JunB (JUNB) is a Jun family bZIP transcription factor that is rapidly induced by growth factors and other stimuli. It forms AP-1 complexes with Fos family proteins to bind TGA[GC]TCA sites and regulate target genes. JunB is studied in cell proliferation, immune cell differentiation and hematopoiesis, where it often acts differently from c-Jun.
