Product Overview
Clone HHI-10 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes transcription factor JunD in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 35.2 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 38, 42 kDa.
JunD (JUND) is a member of the Jun family of bZIP transcription factors. It dimerizes with Fos family proteins to form AP-1 complexes that bind TGA[GC]TCA elements and regulate gene expression. JunD is broadly expressed and is studied in stress and oxidative responses, cell proliferation and survival.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human junD.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places transcription factor JunD in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
