Product Overview
Clone ACEO-11 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes kinesin-like protein KIF3A in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 80.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 80 kDa.
KIF3A is a kinesin-2 motor subunit that pairs with KIF3B and the adapter KAP3 to form a heterotrimeric motor. This complex drives anterograde intraflagellar transport, building and maintaining primary cilia and moving signaling proteins such as Smoothened into cilia during Hedgehog signaling.
