Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects lamin-B2 (gene LMNB2) in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Lamin B2 (LMNB2) is a B-type nuclear lamin, an intermediate filament protein that stays farnesylated and anchored to the inner nuclear membrane. Together with lamin B1 and A-type lamins it forms the nuclear lamina, which supports nuclear shape, chromatin organization and nuclear envelope reassembly after mitosis. Lamin B2 is important for neuronal migration in the developing brain.
