Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes ragulator complex protein LAMTOR1 in human, rat and monkey samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 17.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 18 kDa.
LAMTOR1 (p18) is the membrane-anchoring subunit of the Ragulator complex on the lysosome surface. Ragulator holds the Rag GTPases at the lysosome and helps activate them when amino acids are available, which in turn recruits and activates mTORC1 to drive cell growth. LAMTOR1 is therefore studied in nutrient sensing, mTOR signaling and lysosome biology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): monkey COS-7 cells, human MCF-7 cells, rat lung tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.25 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): MCF-7 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): Jurkat cells.

Recombinant human LAMTOR1 fragment (Lys31–Pro161), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, rat and monkey. UniProt places ragulator complex protein LAMTOR1 in the lysosome membrane and late endosome membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
