Product Overview
Clone 18C01 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes C-type lectin domain family 4 member K (gene CD207) in human samples and is validated for IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 36.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 37 kDa.
Langerin (CD207) is a calcium-dependent C-type lectin found on Langerhans cells of the skin and mucosa. It binds mannose-containing and other glycans on pathogens and drives formation of Birbeck granules, and it is a standard marker for Langerhans cells and certain dermal dendritic cell subsets.
