Product Overview
Clone 28L72 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes linker for activation of T-cells family member 1 (gene LAT) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 27.9 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 36,38 kDa.
LAT (linker for activation of T cells) is a transmembrane adaptor that becomes heavily tyrosine-phosphorylated after T-cell receptor engagement. Phosphorylated LAT recruits PLC-γ1, GRB2, GADS and other signaling proteins, linking the receptor to calcium mobilization, PKC and MAPK activation. It is essential for T-cell development and also functions in mast cell and NK cell receptor signaling.

The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places linker for activation of T-cells family member 1 in the cell membrane.
