Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets phospholysine phosphohistidine inorganic pyrophosphate phosphatase (gene LHPP) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 29.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 29 kDa.
LHPP is a phosphatase of the haloacid dehalogenase family that removes phosphate groups from phosphohistidine and phospholysine and also hydrolyzes inorganic pyrophosphate. As one of few known phosphohistidine phosphatases, it is studied in histidine phosphorylation signaling and has been reported to act as a tumor suppressor.

Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): Jurkat cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human LHPP fragment (Lys6–Lys270), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places phospholysine phosphohistidine inorganic pyrophosphate phosphatase in the cytoplasm and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in brain, and at lower levels in liver and kidney. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
