Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily B member 1 (gene LILRB1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 70.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 71 kDa.
LILRB1 (ILT2, LIR-1, CD85j) is an inhibitory immune receptor found on NK cells, T cells, B cells and monocytes. It binds a broad range of HLA class I molecules, including HLA-G, and the cytomegalovirus decoy UL18, and delivers inhibitory signals through ITIM motifs. LILRB1 is studied in NK cell regulation, maternal–fetal tolerance and as an immune checkpoint in cancer.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human THP-1 cells, human Raji cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human liver cancer tissue, human lymphoma tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HL-60 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human LILRB1 fragment (Gln347–Gln442), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily B member 1 in the cell membrane and SUBCELLULAR LOCATION:. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in B cells, monocytes and various dendritic cell (DC) subsets including myeloid, plasmacytoid and tolerogenic DCs (at protein level). The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
