Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects protein lin-9 homolog (gene LIN9) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 61.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 65 kDa.
LIN9 is a core subunit of the MuvB complex, which controls cell cycle-dependent gene expression. In quiescent cells MuvB is part of the repressive DREAM complex, while in dividing cells it partners with B-MYB and FOXM1 to activate genes needed for G2/M progression. LIN9 is studied in cell cycle regulation and proliferation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human 293T cells, human A549 cells, human U2OS cells, human T98G cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): HeLa cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human LIN9 fragment (Phe127–Asp542), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places protein lin-9 homolog in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in thymus and testis. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
