Product Overview
Clone 26L02 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes LIM domain transcription factor LMO4 in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 18.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 17 kDa.
LMO4 is a LIM-only transcriptional cofactor that assembles and modulates complexes built around LDB1. In the spinal cord it helps set motor neuron identity by limiting LHX3-dependent interneuron genes, and it is also active in the mammary gland and other epithelia. LMO4 is studied in neural development and breast cancer biology.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 1:500–1:2000 |
|---|---|
| Immunoprecipitation | 1:50 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human RT4 cells, human U251 cells, human HEL cells, human HeLa cells, human THP-1 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 12% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human LMO4.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
