Product Overview
Clone 18L69 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes leucine-rich alpha-2-glycoprotein (gene LRG1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 38.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 45 kDa.
Leucine-rich alpha-2-glycoprotein (LRG1) is a secreted glycoprotein built from leucine-rich repeats and is present in human plasma. It has been reported to modulate TGF-β signaling in endothelial cells and to promote new blood vessel growth, and its circulating levels are widely measured in research on inflammation and vascular biology.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt describes leucine-rich alpha-2-glycoprotein as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Plasma. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
