Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 34 (gene LRRC34) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 51.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 43 kDa.
LRRC34 is a leucine-rich repeat protein enriched in stem cells. In embryonic stem cells it supports expression of the pluripotency factors OCT4 and KLF4 and of early lineage marker genes such as NES and GATA4, and it promotes stem cell proliferation in culture, making it of interest in pluripotency research.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human HEL cells, rat C6 cells, mouse testis tissue, mouse RAW264.7 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human LRRC34 fragment (Met221–Pro464), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 82.6% and 80.2%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 34 in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
