Product Overview
Clone FBF-12 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes lymphocyte-specific protein 1 (gene LSP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 37.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 52 kDa.
Lymphocyte-specific protein 1 (LSP1) is an intracellular F-actin-binding protein expressed in lymphocytes, neutrophils, macrophages and endothelium. It is thought to help regulate neutrophil activation and chemotactic migration, and it is studied in leukocyte motility and inflammation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): Ramos cells, rat spleen tissue, mouse spleen tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:1000, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places lymphocyte-specific protein 1 in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Activated T-lymphocytes. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
