Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes putative RNA-binding protein Luc7-like 1 (gene LUC7L) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 43.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 44 kDa.
LUC7L is a putative RNA-binding protein related to yeast Luc7p, a component of the U1 snRNP. It carries an arginine/serine-rich domain through which it may bind RNA, and it is thought to take part in pre-mRNA splicing, although its precise role has not been fully characterized.
