Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes lymphocyte antigen 6D (gene LY6D) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and ELISA.
Lymphocyte antigen 6D (LY6D) is a GPI-anchored Ly6-family surface protein. In early lymphoid development its expression marks the first stage of commitment of progenitors toward the B-cell lineage, and it is also found on some epithelial cells.
| Target | Lymphocyte antigen 6D (gene LY6D; UniProt Q14210, human) |
|---|---|
| Host / Clonality / Isotype | Rabbit / Polyclonal / IgG |

| Storage | As supplied: −20 °C for up to 12 months from receipt. After reconstitution: 4 °C for up to 1 month, or aliquot and keep at −20 °C for up to 6 months. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. |
Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.1–0.25 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 2–5 µg/mL (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Immunogen
Recombinant human LY6D fragment (Leu21–Leu111), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 60.4%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places lymphocyte antigen 6D in the cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed exclusively at the outer cell surface of transitional epithelia and the keratinocyte of stratified squamous epithelia.
