Clone AFAB-12 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes lymphocyte antigen 75 (gene LY75) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 198.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 205 kDa.
Lymphocyte antigen 75 (LY75), also known as DEC-205 or CD205, is a C-type lectin-like endocytic receptor of the mannose receptor family. Highly expressed on dendritic cells, it captures extracellular antigens and delivers them to processing compartments, and it is widely used in antigen-targeting studies of dendritic cell function.
