Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects cell growth-regulating nucleolar protein (gene LYAR) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and ELISA.
LYAR is a nucleolar zinc finger protein involved in processing precursor ribosomal RNA into mature 18S and 28S rRNAs. It also has transcriptional roles, including repressing fetal gamma-globin genes together with PRMT5, and has been reported to restrain IRF3- and NF-κB-driven antiviral and inflammatory responses, so it is studied in ribosome biogenesis and globin switching.
