Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets leucine zipper putative tumor suppressor 2 (gene LZTS2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
LZTS2 is a leucine zipper protein that localizes to centrosomes and restrains katanin-mediated severing of microtubules. It is needed for central spindle formation and completion of cytokinesis, and it has also been reported to bind β-catenin and limit its nuclear activity, so it is studied in cell division and as a candidate tumor suppressor.

Recombinant human LZTS2 fragment (Met1–Ile669), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 91.7% and 90.5%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places leucine zipper putative tumor suppressor 2 in the cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in prostate and testis, and at slightly lower levels in spleen, thymus, uterus, small intestine and colon.
