Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets C-C motif chemokine 18 (gene CCL18) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 9.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 19 kDa.
CCL18 (also called PARC) is a human C-C chemokine produced mainly by alternatively activated macrophages and dendritic cells. It attracts naive T cells, B cells and other lymphocytes and has been associated with allergic and fibrotic diseases and tumor-associated macrophages. It has no direct mouse ortholog.

Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:10000, ECL detection.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt describes C-C motif chemokine 18 as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed at high levels in lung, lymph nodes, placenta, bone marrow, dendritic cells present in germinal centers and T-cell areas of secondary lymphoid organs and macrophages derived from peripheral blood monocytes.
