Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes membrane-associated guanylate kinase, WW and PDZ domain-containing protein 2 (gene MAGI2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
MAGI2 (also called S-SCAM) is a membrane-associated guanylate kinase scaffold with WW and PDZ domains. At synapses it links neurotransmitter receptors with adhesion proteins, it supports NGF-driven neurite outgrowth, and in kidney podocytes it helps maintain the slit diaphragm; it also binds PTEN and is studied in neuronal signaling and kidney filtration.
