| Immunogen | A synthesized peptide derived from human MALT1 Enhances BCL10-induced activation of NF-kappa-B. Involved in nuclear export of BCL10. Binds to TRAF6, inducing TRAF6 oligomerization and activation of its ligase activity. Has ubiquitin ligase activity. MALT1-dependent BCL10 cleavage plays an important role in T-cell antigen receptor-induced integrin adhesion. |

Product Overview
Clone ADDA-13 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation protein 1 (gene MALT1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 92.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 92 kDa.
MALT1 is a paracaspase that, together with CARD11 (or CARD9/CARD14) and BCL10, forms the CBM signaling complex downstream of antigen and pattern-recognition receptors. It acts both as a scaffold that recruits TRAF6 to activate NF-κB and as a protease that cleaves negative regulators, so it is a key target of study in lymphocyte activation and lymphoma.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 10% SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human MALT1 Enhances BCL10-induced activation of NF-kappa-B. Involved in nuclear export of BCL10.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation protein 1 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in peripheral blood mononuclear cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
