Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects mastermind-like protein 1 (gene MAML1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Mastermind-like protein 1 (MAML1) is a transcriptional coactivator for Notch. It joins the ternary complex formed by the Notch intracellular domain and the DNA-binding factor CSL (RBPJ), recruits CBP/p300 to activate target genes such as HES1, and also promotes CDK8-dependent turnover of the Notch intracellular domain, making it a core player in Notch signaling studies.

Recombinant human MAML1 fragment (Met1–Lys998), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 86.3%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places mastermind-like protein 1 in the nucleus speckle. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed with highest levels in heart, pancreas, peripheral blood leukocytes and spleen.
