Product Overview
Clone 20S62 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes mammaglobin-A (gene SCGB2A2) in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 10.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 18 kDa.
Mammaglobin-A (SCGB2A2) is a small secreted member of the secretoglobin family that is expressed mainly in mammary gland epithelium. Its physiological function is not well defined, but it is widely used as a breast tissue marker in research.

|---|---|
| Immunohistochemistry | 1:50–1:200 |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human breast cancer.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human mammaglobin A.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and rat. UniProt describes mammaglobin-A as a secreted protein. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Mammary gland specific. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
