Product Overview
Clone ACHF-13 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 7 (gene MAP3K7) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 67.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 75 kDa.
TAK1 (MAP3K7) is a MAP kinase kinase kinase that, with its binding partners TAB1, TAB2 and TAB3, links IL-1, TNF, TGF-β and Toll-like receptor signals to downstream kinases. It activates the IKK complex, leading to NF-κB activation, as well as the JNK and p38 pathways, making it a central node in innate immunity and inflammation research.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human K562 cells, human 293T cells, rat lung tissue, rat brain tissue, mouse lung tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 1:500 overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A431 cells.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human MAP3K7.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 7 in the cytoplasm and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Isoform 1A is the most abundant in ovary, skeletal muscle, spleen and blood mononuclear cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
