Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects mitogen-activated protein kinase 13 (gene MAPK13) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 42.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 42 kDa.
p38δ (MAPK13) is one of the four p38 MAP kinases, activated by MKK3 and MKK6 in response to stress and inflammatory signals. It is expressed in tissues such as skin, lung and immune cells and is studied in keratinocyte differentiation, inflammation and metabolic regulation.

|---|---|
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human T-47D cells, human HepG2 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Recombinant human MAPK13 fragment (Leu328–Leu365), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 94.7% and 89.5%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in testes, pancreas, small intestine, lung and kidney. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
