Product Overview
Clone 20M97 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes MAP/microtubule affinity-regulating kinase 3 (gene MARK3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 84.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 84 kDa.
MARK3 is a serine/threonine kinase of the MAP/microtubule affinity-regulating kinase family. It phosphorylates tau, MAP2 and MAP4 to regulate microtubule dynamics, and it also targets CDC25C, HDAC7 and MITF, promoting their binding to 14-3-3 proteins and controlling where they sit in the cell. It is studied in cell polarity, cell-cycle control and signaling.
