Product Overview
Clone 21M53 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes DNA replication licensing factor MCM7 in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 81.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 81 kDa.
MCM7 is a subunit of the MCM2-7 replicative helicase, loaded onto origins of replication and activated to unwind DNA in S phase. It is required for replication licensing and interacts with checkpoint proteins that respond to replication stress. MCM7 is frequently overexpressed in proliferating tumor cells and is studied in DNA replication and cancer.
