Product Overview
Clone CGI-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes macrophage colony-stimulating factor 1 (gene CSF1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 60.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 20 kDa.
M-CSF (CSF1) is a cytokine that supports the survival, proliferation and differentiation of monocytes, macrophages and their precursors by signaling through the CSF1R receptor. It is also needed for osteoclast formation and bone resorption, and influences inflammation, fertility and cell migration, so it is measured in studies of macrophage biology, bone remodeling and inflammatory disease.
