Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes mediator of RNA polymerase II transcription subunit 28 (gene MED28) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA.
MED28 is a subunit of the Mediator complex, the transcriptional coactivator that bridges gene-specific regulators and RNA polymerase II. Beyond its role in transcription, MED28 has been reported to associate with the tumor suppressor merlin (NF2) and with actin cytoskeleton signaling. It is studied in gene regulation, cell differentiation and cancer.
