Product Overview

This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes mediator of RNA polymerase II transcription subunit 7 (gene MED7) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and ELISA.

MED7 is a subunit of the middle module of the Mediator complex, which relays regulatory signals from transcription factors to RNA polymerase II. Together with MED21 it forms a structural element that links the head and middle of Mediator. MED7 is studied in transcriptional activation and Mediator architecture.
