Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects MEIOB in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
MEIOB is a meiosis-specific single-stranded DNA-binding protein with OB-fold domains. It works with its partner SPATA22 and with RPA during meiotic recombination, helping maintain RAD51 and DMC1 foci so that double-strand breaks are repaired, homologs synapse and crossovers form. Loss of MEIOB causes infertility in mice and is studied in meiosis and reproductive biology.
