Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets solute carrier family 33 member 2 (gene SLC33A2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 42.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 43 kDa.
SLC33A2 is a member of solute carrier family 33, whose best-characterized member, SLC33A1, transports acetyl-CoA into the endoplasmic reticulum. The function of SLC33A2 itself has not been fully characterized.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human A549 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): 293T cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human MFSD3 fragment (Met1–Ala381), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 79.5% and 78.4%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places solute carrier family 33 member 2 in the cell membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
