Product Overview
Clone 20O25 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes protein O-GlcNAcase (gene OGA) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 102.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 130 kDa.
O-GlcNAcase (OGA, also called MGEA5) removes O-linked N-acetylglucosamine (O-GlcNAc) from serine and threonine residues of nuclear and cytoplasmic proteins. Working opposite OGT, it controls the dynamic O-GlcNAc modification that links nutrient status to signaling, transcription and stress responses, and it is studied in metabolism, neurodegeneration and cancer.
