Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes myelin-associated oligodendrocyte basic protein (gene MOBP) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Myelin-associated oligodendrocyte basic protein (MOBP) is a small, positively charged protein abundant in central nervous system myelin. It is thought to help compact and stabilize the myelin sheath, and it is used as a marker of mature oligodendrocytes.
| Target | Myelin-associated oligodendrocyte basic protein (gene MOBP; UniProt Q13875, human) |

| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Immunogen
Recombinant human MOBP fragment (Gln16–Arg69), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 96.2%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places myelin-associated oligodendrocyte basic protein in the cytoplasm.
