Product Overview
Clone 26M00 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes monoglyceride lipase (gene MGLL) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 33.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 33 kDa.
Monoacylglycerol lipase (MAGL, MGLL) breaks down monoacylglycerols into glycerol and free fatty acids. It is the main enzyme that inactivates the endocannabinoid 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG), so it shapes endocannabinoid signaling in pain and neuroinflammation, and its supply of free fatty acids makes it a subject of study in lipid metabolism and tumor biology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human heart.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human monoacylglycerol Lipase.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places monoglyceride lipase in the cytoplasm and membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detected in adipose tissue, lung, liver, kidney, brain and heart. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
