Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets WD repeat domain-containing protein 83 (gene WDR83) in rat, mouse and human samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 34.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 12 kDa.
WDR83, also known as MORG1, is a WD-repeat scaffold protein that helps organize multiprotein signaling complexes. It supports assembly of the ERK MAP kinase scaffold, binds the prolyl hydroxylase PHD3 to modulate HIF-1α levels under hypoxia, and has been linked to cell polarity and to restraining mTORC1 activity, so it appears in studies of signaling, hypoxia and autophagy.

Validated Applications
| IHC (paraffin sections) | 0.5–1 µg/mL (Human, Rat, Mouse) |
|---|---|
| Western blot | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Rat, Mouse) |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): rat brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): rat lung tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide from the N-terminal region of human morg1. The peptide sequence is conserved in mouse and rat.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with rat, mouse and human. UniProt places WD repeat domain-containing protein 83 in the cytoplasm, lysosome and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
