Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes mutS protein homolog 4 (gene Msh4) in mouse samples. The predicted molecular weight is 107.0 kDa.
In mouse, MSH4 is a meiosis-specific MutS homolog that partners with MSH5. The MSH4-MSH5 complex stabilizes recombination intermediates so that crossovers form between homologous chromosomes, and it is required for correct chromosome pairing and segregation in meiosis and for fertility.
