Product Overview
Clone AFCD-13 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes beta-microseminoprotein (gene MSMB) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 12.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 15 kDa.
β-Microseminoprotein (MSMB, also called PSP94) is a small secreted protein and one of the most abundant proteins in seminal fluid, made mainly by the prostate. It is studied in prostate biology, and its precise physiological function is not fully understood.
