Product Overview
Clone 29M98 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes methionine-R-sulfoxide reductase B3 (gene MSRB3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 20.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 18 kDa.
Methionine sulfoxide reductase B3 (MSRB3) reduces the R form of methionine sulfoxide back to methionine in free and protein-bound methionine, repairing oxidative damage. It has forms targeted to the endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria, and MSRB3 mutations cause a form of inherited hearing loss.
