Product Overview
Clone 18C00 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M3 (gene CHRM3) in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 66.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 66 kDa.
The muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M3 (CHRM3) is a G protein-coupled receptor that signals through Gq proteins to raise intracellular Ca2+. It drives smooth muscle contraction in the airways, bladder and gut and stimulates glandular secretion, making it an important target in pharmacology.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human fetal brain.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptor M3.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M3 in the cell membrane, postsynaptic cell membrane, basolateral cell membrane and endoplasmic reticulum membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
