Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets alpha-galactosidase MYORG in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
MYORG is an endoplasmic reticulum-associated glycosidase with α-galactosidase activity toward Gal-α1,4-Glc linkages, whose natural substrate remains unknown. It has been reported to promote myogenesis via IGF2 maturation, and MYORG mutations cause primary familial brain calcification.

Immunogen
Recombinant human MYORG fragment (Gln207–Arg611), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 92.9%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places alpha-galactosidase MYORG in the nuclear membrane and endoplasmic reticulum membrane.
