Product Overview
Clone 28N99 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes NEDD4-binding protein 1 (gene N4bp1) in mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 99.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 110 kDa.
N4BP1 (NEDD4-binding protein 1) is a ribonuclease-domain protein that restrains cytokine and chemokine production in innate immune cells. It limits responses to TRIF-independent Toll-like receptor signals and is cleaved by caspase-8 during stronger TLR3 or TLR4 activation, releasing this brake. It is studied in inflammation and innate immune regulation.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): PC12 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human N4BP1.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with mouse and rat. UniProt places NEDD4-binding protein 1 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
